I'm not too hopeful about this year. And it might turn out I'll be working a lot of the games. I've not given up completely, though. But they really did my boy Smoltz wrong.

Anyways, let's start out by possibly signing washed-up injury-prone Ken Griffey Jr. and see if that helps
Griffey used to be one of my heros...if he could have stayed healthy he would have put roid-raging Barry Bonds in his place. But he hasn't been healthy in a decade and I can't imagine that aging is going to improve that - so yeah, not such a great deal for the Braves.
yeah man that would've been a sweet career if he had been 100% the whole time, i wonder how the roid situation is going to play out this year what with the a-rod stuff and all
ok so griffey is going back to seattle
so i went to orientation today for working the games, updates as they come
opening day beat the phillies 4-1, derek lowe went scoreless through 8 innings, jair jurrjens on tuesday
props to jordan schafer. homerun in his first major league at-bat isn't too shabby
SportCenter's Top Plays -- features at least two awesome Braves plays, and some ultimate frisbee :)
didnt see that of which you spoke
looks like the link displays the current day's top plays...yesterday it contained a clip of the US beating Japan in ultimate
stupid espn.. i would have embedded the specific video if they made it available.
so the braves have won 12 of their last 15 games to pull within 4 games of colorado in the wildcard. 10 games left - 7 against the nationals. looks like they're doing an excellent job of giving fans a glimmer of hope in bobby cox's penultimate season before throwing it all away.
So the run at the end comes to naught as the most recent loss to the marlins ends the chances at the wild card, not really sure what next season will bring, I guess that's been my main complaint the past few years, just the apparent lack of over-arching strategy for the team, we'll see what the new manager brings
