why would that be the case? i haven't heard any hype that would make me anything more than ambivalent about a new windows release, i'm still on XP and no one has given me a reason to upgrade yet
win7 is apparently the new hotness when compared to the craphole of vista.
so basically everyone that did buy vista made sure to pre-order win7, which pretty much guaranteed that it'd outsell vista :-P
