Dude, that same thing happened to our friend Timmie's Wii. The power went out one night and the Wii didn't work the next day. He let it sit about a day or so and then tried it and it worked.

Hey Pointy, how's your Wii doing? Stop playing real Disc Golf and let's play it during some naked Wiiiiiing. Do they have a DG game for Wii?

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz has a decent yet frustrating--so true to life?--dg game.

No More Heroes might be the coolest game out for the Wii right now. The save points are toilets where you take a dump--brilliant! You have a light saber gun that you can use to cut people's heads off and sometimes there's so much blood spraying out you can't see where you're going. Checkout the video review in the link above.

also, through the wii virtual console, i am reminded of how funky the bass synth on the sega genesis was, f-ing lays it down, the snes had a better all around sound set, but the genesis had some thick bass </geeking>

also, i think i've decided that i must not condone these games and i will not play them unless i'm in a situation where the proper thing would be to "eat what is set before you" (figurative interpretation ftw)

I have been waiting for rock band ever since I got my wii, I looked it up to see if there was a date like 2 days ago and found nothing. The 409 is my hero.

My wii's optical drive broke, so I sent it in for repairs. According to the nintendo website, it arrived and left the repair center on the same day. It's scheduled to be delivered on May 6. Hooray!

Edit: Given my recent fun with playing rock band / guitar hero over at McDazzlepants's house + Ben & Jerry's (every monday night = rock band night!.. i've been once, it was amusing), I think it's a safe bet that there will be some fun times set before drew, at which time he will have no choice but to eat it.

So yesterday I got an enormous package in the mail from walmart, and it turned out to be Guitar Hero III for the Wii, from Rachel for my birfday (.wav). so it looks like i'm going to be working on my shredding skills, and my weedle fingers. (weedlee-weedlee-weedlee-weeeee)

New Wii was announced today.. it's call the "Wii U." It has HD output, and the controller has a built in 6.2" touch screen.. Kinda crazy. It's also compatible with "existing accessories" which i guess means you can use a standard Wiimote? not really sure.

Who's getting one?
