i just received an "urgent" email from oak ridge concerning the potential risk of stairs. there have apparently been 2500 reported accidents at DOE facilities due to stairs in the past 10 years, resulting in over 5600 lost workdays. so they can trust us to design new nuclear plants and safeguard our nation's nuclear stockpiles, but not to correctly use stairs.



remember, 80% of stair-related accidents occur on stairs with 5 or fewer steps...
