i was hoping to break into the top 10 :-(
FUCKING TWILIGHT ZONE

also i hate florida now too. showboating sonovabitch lost his TD and refs give them a free 7 for the second damn week in a row of close games against mediocre teams (yah my hogs are mediocre right now)
uh, that'd be 3rd week in a row for floriduh
and yes, i realize i'm calling LSU mediocre. our defense is pretty awesome most of the time, but our offense (esp running game) is pretty damn mediocre. and the ref's gave floriduh their only TD in the LSU game on the blatant offensive pass interference non-call.
how come nobody told me UNC beat VT? kinda a big deal.

And GT is #10!
Wait I think FSU is playing USF, and I think they're losing! Has VT lost a game yet?! oh yeah alabama! :D In your defense no one told you...or maybe we did! The world may never know!

In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king, but he hates his life because the womens can't see how awful they look. In the land of eunuchs the one-balled man is king, but he hates his life because there are no women, unkempt or otherwise. So in the land of terribad football teams GT is in the top 10! And the fans love it because, well bc this land has unblind women who can maintain! :O
Hooray for mass mediocrity!
This is an excerpt from the Tech Football newsletter that I get every other day:

"Dwyer's got a shot at re-writing the Tech record book. With 2,731 rushing yards, he's already sixth in school history with five or six games left this season and his senior season if he chooses to play it (I have no hunches one way or the other on this). The record holder is Robert Lavette, who rushed for 4,066 yards from 1981-'84. Lavette's career rushing touchdown record of 45 is in danger, too. Dwyer has 30 (plus a receiving score).

If you want to vote for Dwyer among four nominees for the AT & T All-America player of the week, text message** VOTE to 345345 on your wireless phone.
Fans have until 11:59 p.m Wednesday to vote. The winner will be announced during Thursday's ESPN College Football Primetime Presented by Applebee's. Standard text messaging rates apply.

There is no limit on voting and each vote counts as one entry into a sweepstakes to win a trip to the 2010 Bowl Championship Series National Championship game in Pasadena, Calif."

I've already voted a few times this morning, I plan on continuing to do so until tomorrow night.
apparently voting via google voice SMS messages doesn't work, looks like i'll actually have to use my phone
Even though we'll be on a cruise during the National Championship Game. Oh well.
if you win i'll take the ticket off your hands
if you get two i'll take the other one. or i can take steven's if anything unfortunate should befall him. problem solved :D
I really hope our bowl game isn't while we're on the cruise. Probably will be though. Was one of the bars on the cruise a sports bar?
that may have been one of the amenities we sacrified to party with Dwayne in Jamaica! :O
anyone going to the game this weekend? i don't think arif is going, so if anyone needs me to get them a ticket I might be able to do that.
Guest tickets are gone I think
And by the way, Dwyer didn't win, some douche from Houston did.
boo and boo. im surprised so many people want to go to the wake forest game, but i guess we are doing well, and our last 2 games have been away.
yeah, everybody wants to be a fan when we're 8-1 and in the top 10. where were all those people during the reggie ball years? i think people who actually stuck with the jackets during the crappy years should be given free tickets or something
Or a make out session with one of the players....I'm just sayin...Roddy Jones calls me...
Nice job yellow jackets, way to win it in over time by going for it on 4th down.

Now it's on to Duke.
