A little lesson on hyperlinks on club409:
If you are linking to a page *outside* of club409, put the whole url in the href field.
If you are linking to a page that is hosted on 409 (i.e., the URL starts with http://www.club409.com), dont include that in the href. just say <a href="/thread/view/34">My Important Linky</a>.
By following these simple rules, we can all enjoy a Happier, Better 409 Experience.

yeah, i was pretty excited about them a while ago.. but i dont really know what we'd make as the feed. i mean, we could make the posts show up in your RSS reader, but meh.. plus that would slow our ad traffik :-P
As teh thread-ness of 409 evolves, I have determined that The Project needs its own button in the positification toolbox. Done and Done.

Hey i don't know if you can do this easily, but if someone prefers to view the posts in reverse order, can you put the "Post a Reply" at the top too...its annoying to read the last post, think of something clever to say, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button...by now you've forgotten what you were gonna say so you have to scroll back up to remind yourself.

yes, because it's actually counting the number of replies, which does not include the "OP" (cool mouseover to see what OP stands for.. gogogo)
In response to the "where did the 'post linky' feature go" -- It got cleared out as clutter when i made the spiffy new quick-reply box. Eventually, I plan to have a "Post Creation Toolbar" at the top of this quick-reply area that lets you do all kinds of stuff, like font color, add a link, The Project, add a hide button, and whatever else is deemed important. But that's kinda long term, and I really cant devote any time to 409 right now. So for now you'll have to suffer through writing your own (hopefully well-written) HTML. I realize it's a burden mere mortals shouldn't have to bear, but thems the breaks.

fix0rzed :) when i changed it to have the number of "replies" listed instead of the total number of posts, it messed with the part that made the page links. and yes, the bug would only appear when there was one post on the newest page of a thread :) good call, pip.
Deleting the only post on a page screws something up:

In my opinion, the Project button needs to be moved and the Post Shout button should be put in its place. For some reason I always almost click on the wrong button.
Also, I was thinking that we should have a picture archive, in the same form as the Link Archive.
