Well depending on what time I leave, probably noonish, I would get there around 1:30ish...perhaps I could meet you for lunch, or go sabotage Harris!
p.s. - After I dropped my sister off at school (10:30 bc it was a half-day), I drove fifteen minutes to the beach and basked in the sun's nourishing warmth for two hours. When the sand would get too annoying I would wade into the cool ocean and let the gentle waves wash it away. :D Pardon me for missing out on DG. =P~

(Oh did someone get me those two tickets for Saturday's game?)
so, GT toyed with my emotions today but left me with an incredible high! On the way out, V and I ran into Dwayne, Steph, Alek, and Tom, so things got even better! We walked back to V's and I typed up V's list of movies she needs to see that she and Mike put together, for to be added to the potential SL movie collection list. We had to get to the game early to make sure we could get in the south endzone, so I asked V to buy me a white tshirt and hat, and she spotted me $15 so I could buy dinner for to break my fast. All in all I ended up owing V $75, so I told her I'd go grab my checkbook out of my laptop bag, write her a check and be on my merry way.

So I walked over to my car and my driver side window was smashed into bits of tempered glass. At first I was like "good thing I didn't have anything of importance in here, no removable radio or anything." Then I was like "what did I need to do, oh yeah, write that check for V, let me grab my checkbook from my..."

My laptop bag was gone, along with my two work laptops, a 160-gb external hd, my checkbok, mouse, headphones, a nice Avanade leather binder, a 30-day trial for Expression Blend 3, a free book light, and as I'm typing this...I just realized...my glasses. :( I recently got contacts for those of you who don't know, and just this morning as I was walking to the office I went back to my car and grabbed my glasses and put them in a side pouch so I would have it with me.

Anyways, I guess I was due for a life lesson. *sigh* *lesson learned*
who took the report? gatech or atlanta?
One of my other friends also got his car broken into in homepark pretty close to V's place last weekend. Home Park is getting rough. I think it is because it is easy to hide and there are so many people always walking around.
i called atl pd's non-emergency number and got voicemail. I left a message this morning but haven't heard back yet. gj atl pd, you guys rock. :P

you should've just called 911, no one is going to ever call you back, where exactly was your car when it got broke into? do you have the serial # for the laptop? prob should just go to the zone 5 precinct and get them to do the report for you, unless you were on gatech property
I was in home park. In hindsight I should've called 911, but I didn't because it wasn't a dire emergency, so I didn't feel like occupying the line for my laptops. Oh well. Avanade has one of them on file, but they don't have the other one bc their data got corrupt and I didn't respond to the email requesting Serial#'s. *le sigh*
:( im sorry!
Man, ATL is getting dangerous. I would recommend going to one of these places and getting some practice in.

On another note, I knew this guy Taylor that lived in New Orleans, and his brother's car was stolen. His brother had really no idea what to do and the cops were like "good luck". He was riding in the car with his mom, and low and behold, his car was sitting down an alley. He went over to it, and there was a nice watch sitting in the passenger's seat. So, he ended up getting his car back + a watch.

What I'm trying to say is, you probably won't be as lucky.
why is all the broken glass in the driveway? could we not find a better place for it? we're going to have bloody kittens and russian kids all over the place soon
