Mass Effect: 4/4 alien testicles

(that's how many they have)

on the penny arcade forum they couldn't reach on consensus on how they'd be arranged

i meant to post this last weekend after we got back from the water park but forgot until now. at the end of the day when tyler and i were heading back to meet up with the rest of the group we were approached by some woman.

woman: "i have to ask you a question, what's the deal with your friend in the speedo?"

me: *shrugs* "that's matt"

woman: "does he know that he's scaring children? i had my son come up to me and say 'mommy, i can almost see that man's bottom' "

me: "eh, it doesn't really phase me anymore"

woman: "well i just think he should know that it's a little bit creepy"
I was informed that some here may have let their xbox live account subscription run out. For some reason, I want to say it's ~$50 to update it via your Xbox through microsoft?

I would suggest getting your xbox gold membership from newegg.com. No shipping costs or taxes, and according to posts in the comments it is $10 cheaper than from microsoft, themselves.

game on
ah, well i just got it for $42 on amazon, but it's a 13 month card, should be here in a day or so
Some of you might be aware of EVE Online. It's a PC MMO where players form corporations and control areas of a persistent universe that started back in 2003. It's been so long going that it had a major graphics engine update as a patch. In-game developments have gotten a few BBC articles. But from what I understand it's kind of boring and I'm not keen on a monthly fee to play a game. Anyways, they're making a console game called Dust 514. It's going to be an FPS and you'll be a merc in the EVE universe and you'll accept pay for fighting over planets. I've always had an inclination to start an EVE account. I guess if the FPS thing turns out to be good I might go ahead and fire it up. We'll see.
I don't play EvE any more, but I still manage intelligence for one of the groups. I'm looking forward to dust.
Is it any fun to play?
EvE? Depends on what you're into. I don't have the time or the patience for the game these days. If you're part of a big power bloc, it's hours of blueballing followed by brief instances of laggy fleet battles. And it's not edge-of-the-seat dog fights; piloting is mostly point and click. Most of my enjoyment has come from out-of-game accomplishments.

Dust looks good; some people are concerned about how it will affect eve political dynamics. Apparently, the results of man-to-man fps battles in dust is supposed to change who owns what planets in a space ship game.
dont forget the massive scams ;)
Many of the massive scams that you'll read about are pure fiction. The ones that aren't are awesome.
OnLive goes open beta with its magical server-side rendering of the heavens, i signed up for the beta and i put (Pick Me! i use Clear wireless internet!) in the box with my name, so maybe they'll be intrigued and pick me to test it
lol awesome, i saw that.. i hope you get it
Monopoly based on the real world using google maps. get on it! maybe i'll buy PMC.

edit: here's the link to the game site, which seems to be non-responsive right now.
