OneSync -- Drew I know you were looking for an external HD sync application a while back, and I dont know if you ever came up with an acceptable solution, but here's another piece of software that may be worth a try.

Hulu Plus - $10/month. no thanks, i'll stick with usenet for $8 a month ;-)

If we hadn't already heavily invested ourselves in our own custom Moneys app, it looks like EasyRoomin would be a good way to go for handling shared expenses.
holy crap, i didn't know google spreadsheets had xpath support. that's l33t, and pretty powerful.

Another site that does Moneys-ish things, but this one is specifically for splitting rent based on who gets what perks / annoyances with their personal rooms. Interesting idea, and it was based on SCIENCE!

SplitTheRent.org (apparently now at splittherent.com) has been updated with more features that basically makes it exactly like club409 Moneys. you can split bills, furniture, and other random expenses.

Dammit there goes our idea. :(  Oh well.

none of you kids use torrents to get your movies, do you?

eek.  dont think i downloaded that.  how do you think they deal w/shared ip's? like if my roomie did.

they sue whoever's name is on the account. guilty until proven innocent, huzzah!

Not sure if all you dropbox users out there were aware.. but if you log in to your dropbox account and then give them a valid .edu email address, then you'll get double bonus for being a student :)

edit: specifically they double the value of referrals, so instead of 250 Mb per, you get 500 Mb per. Thanks, suprmelo!

also they double the max you can achieve via referrals, so now i can get up to 16 GB. I'm going to combine this with the $100 free ad-words that google just sent me, and get randos to sign up using my referral link. woot woot!

ever needed to delete a file only to be thwarted by your comp telling you that it won't let you? maybe this will help, maybe not, won't try it until i need it next i suppose

Not familiar with that tool, but Process Explorer can do the same thing.  I haven't used it in a while, but it's fairly powerful.  It was really useful when trying to determine what dll's were being used by a process.  There was a case on a previous project where the code was updated and compiled, but when run in the site the changes weren't present.  It turned out that an old version of the dll was being referenced.  We used PE to help track it down.
