rachel and i ate some crippled babies tonight.. but they weren't in a bucket :'-( sometimes you gotta settle.
A Nintendo DS...Oh wait, I HAVE ONE!!! Super Mario Bros is farking awesome!!! Mario Kart is a little rough on the thumb, but it's still fun. If you have 130 bucks laying around, buy a gun and go hunting! If you have 130 dollar bills to spare, I'd suggest you go out and buy a DS! You don't even need a Mario Kart cartridge to play against me!
hey you should hook up with max.. i do believe he's got the DS action going on. are you using it with your wireless router? i suppose you are, since there's probably not an ethernet port on the thing. l33t. maybe i'll get one too :-D

edit: i just bought that IDE + SATA thing
Optimus Upravlator keyboard: This is from the same people who are bringing us the Optimus Keyboard at the end of 2006 hopefully.
I don't get the tactile feedback part. Does it shock you when you push it? Maybe it just gets hot. Or perhaps, if one were to put any of the current club409 avatars on it, it would feel furry.
i believe it just clicks when you press it.. so its like a touchscreen, but you can be sure of when your input is being processed, because it clicks. hmm.
Anybody remember back freshman year when I broke my mouse and it didn't have any tactile feedback? Man, those were crazy times.
I believe you're referring to the "only knew drew as the random guy whose couch i crashed on when i was drunk" year. so not really.

PS apparently i'm running wiht a couple of AFROTC dudes from Tech. We talked shit about the man for a while on your behalf. F the man. Unless he's pinging my IP right now . . .
Back to the Nintendo Wii discussion.. I had the chance to try it out last night, with a few hours of Monkeyballz or some such whimsical nonsense. It was jam packed with all kinds of party games, each of which take anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes each, so the action and excitement never stops! The controls were cool, although a bit quirky at times. I got the feeling that I could get used to them pretty easily. One thing that was demonstrated pretty readily was the variety of gameplay that is made possible by the Wiimote. There are two gameplay buttons per hand: the wiimote has "A" on the top under your thumb, and "B" is the trigger finger. The left hand (optional, detatchable nunchuck) has two triggers, "C" and "Z." There's also a joystick on the nunchuck, and a D-pad on the wiimote. Those were only used for the more complex games :)

All in all, I'd have to say that Nintendo's chances for getting some of my money drastically increased last night.
This guy likes the Dragon Ball Wii game. I heard Red Steel, the game with the gun/katana stuff was clunky, though.
Nintendo held some event for the Wii up in seattle a few weeks ago, and I played tennis, boxing, and duck hunt. (The line for zelda was redonkulous so I just watched other nerds tear up some crazy monsters). They were all entertaining, especially after lots of rum--2 double shots of rum, 2 rum and cokes, and a zombie (dark rum, light rum, and cranberry juice). I could totally see someone taking a drunken virtual swing and landing a very real punch--most likely on themselves, but perhaps on the opposition. Regardless, it should make for some goodtimes. Plus, you can buy anywhere from three to eight Wii's for the price of one PS3. My only complaint is that the graphics aren't stellAR, but ::two drunken thumbs up:: for the Wii gameplay! (Buy a DS first though so I can whoop your ass in tetris) :D

p.s. - FF3 for the DS is a good buy, if you're a FF fan anyhow.
mad kudos to ffxii as well
yeah its no joke; you can get your blood pumpin pretty well with the wii. especially in the hurdles game. i played a "first to 2" with two other people, and we ended up playing 4 times in a row, and man, my arms were done.
Heheh oh no, excercise!? Can you guys image nintendo trying to market this gem these days? I remember playing Track and Field back in the day and being sore for days. :-D good 'ol back in the day . . .
"Blaine Stuart of Rochester, New York, mistakenly whacked his fiancee..." I call shenanigans. If anything, this is more incentive for people (like Steve) to buy Wii's. :D

Dude "Track and Field" was the shit!
I've decided we all need Wiis. They're educational. (Watch the whole thing)
Eh? Eh? We have to act now though!
