Rachel's bad luck seems to be a cyclical phenomenon, with a period of ~2 years. maybe it's actually ~2.3 years?

10,000 BC: LAME. I went into it thinking maybe this will be an artistic and action packed reflection about savage man coming to terms with the emergence of civilization. But then after the first 8 lines of dialog I knew that wasn't going to happen. So I thought maybe this will be a story about a rational and free-thinking man rising up to destroy early dogmatism and its oppression of the masses. That didn't happen either. Then I thought ok maybe he's going to pal around with this saber-toothed tiger and kick some serious ass. Nope. So the best part of the movie was the helicopter shots of the pretty mountains. Also, prophecies, narrations, make for weak and uncompelling story telling. And . I think they made this movie for kids and forgot to tell everyone who they made it for. 2 out of 5 flightless birds.
