Run Ronnie Run - I give it 4/5 pairs I'd like to grab. I've watched the beginning / middle of this movie like 4 times, each time drunker than the last. At some point I'm bound to make it through to the end. or not.
The Number 23:
I'd say it's pretty good (9/14...9+14=23). Some far stretches with the number and all. Plus it was weird since Jim Carrey wasn't funny. I kind of prefer him in an Ace Ventura type of role. However, after the movie, I tried to see 23 in my life(on the clock, in my bday, etc.) but I couldn't find it. How sad.

Well how's this? That was post ("shout") # 123 in this thread. [122 replies + the initial post] Did you wait until it was that post or was that coincidence, ehhh? I enjoyed the movie also though.
Eastern Promises I thought was very decent. There's a nice 1-2 minute fight scene that shows quite a bit more of Viggo Mortensen than anybody should ever want to see in their lifetime. Can be predictable at some points, but overall I'd give it 3 out of 5 prostitutes..

I give Sweeney Todd 3.8 out of 5 Soylent Musical Meat Pies. Did I mention that it's a musical? I knew that at one point, but forgot it until the first words of the film.
once. 5.3 / 6 heartbroken irish singer songwriters. great music, get the soundtrack.
Cloverfield: 3.5/5 giant enemy crabs to the face - blair witch project meets godzilla. best part of the movie: the punkass 10 year old screaming "worst fucking ending ever whaaaaaaaaaaa!" loud enough for the whole theater to hear once the credits started rolling. then everyone laughed and mocked him as he stormed out
LOL that's exactly what happened when I saw it.. except he didn't storm out. We just gang raped him and told him to say he fell down some stairs.
that's how we roll
American Gangster: 4/5 naked heroin cuttin chicks. My Man!
Not to mention 4/5 "there's nooo way you'll shoot me in the face right now"s
RAM-FUCKING-BO: 9 out of 6 exploding 50-cal sniper headshots, plus a trachea removed using nothing but rage and man-fingers. Say what you will about the man or career, if all that had to happen so this could happen, you might convince me that there is a higher power, and he does in fact have a plan.
By the way, I believe Stalone speaks fewer than 50 or 60 words in the entire film (especially if you don't count when he repeats himself).

4.5 out of 5 for Michael Clayton. Very good legal thriller with George Clooney.
I am surprised that Rambo was that good because it looked like it might suck. However, it is interesting that his last movie Rocky, I thought was very good. Stallone seems to have gotten better with age.

atonement 5.3 / 6. very well put together. i think they call it a drama. i am finally convinced that dudes with mustaches love children too much in the wrong way. creeps.
not sure if it's been covered yet, but "There Will Be Blood" should be seen soon and often. I dunno what to say about it. If I had to number it, I'd say "5/5 unbelievably well constructed characters in a movie that makes sense but you're not quite sure why so you gotta see it again. "
In fact i'd love to chat it up in a thread if you guys go see it/ have seen it.

"No Country For Old Men" gets from me 6.5 out of 10 shots to the head with a steer killing stud. Moves reeeally slow, but it's oddly intense. I'd say it's better than the avg crap that's been coming out. Don't see it if you hate southern/Texan lingo or people who speak it fast and fluently while slightly mumbling it.
The main killer in it is wicked awesome I'd say. I wanna be like him when I grow up.

Btw, I got The Neverending Story [1, 2, and 3] last night. I didn't even know they made 3.
ATREYU!!!

Yeah, 3 was pretty ghey. Well...Slightly more ghey than the other 2. But it wasn't nearly as good.
i finally found the number 23 in my life.
