Låt den rätte komma in -- interesting, slow moving Norwegian film about a 12 yr old boy Oscar and his new friend-girl who turns out to be a vampire. Special effects are used sparingly, but are pretty darn good, and don't detract from the rest of the movie. 4 out of 5 blood funnels.
Taken: Subtitle - Liam Neeson goes to Paris. Subsubtitle - ...and kills damn near everyone. Pretty decent action movie. Essentially all of the plot development occurs in the trailer. Was it believable? Certainly not. Was it entertaining? Yes. 3.5/5 never-ending electrocutions.
Agreed steven, although I may be more inclined to give it 3/5. It was like a bad version of bourne identity meets jack bauer.
I was on the fence between a 3 and a 3.5. We'll call it a 3.25
yeah I basically got the same review from my friends in dc. I guess I don't need to watch the movie. but I will so I can ruin it more mike. :P

I actually liked this movie if for nothing else as it gives you a visual for the books. Of course the movies deviated from the story alittle, but I felt that it was a pretty good attempt given their target audience. I thought that more development of the relationship between Bella and Edward would have been nice as it seemed like they fell in love too easily. With some more plot development and better CGI would have been 4/5

anybody ever hear anything about "City of Ember?" I just watched a trailer for it and didnt realize that it came out last year. looks visually interesting. maybe i'll look for it on the intertron.

netflix has it on dvd and bru-lay. And speaking of bru-lay, it's about time pmc got an upgrade
I read the books, they were okay.
