So the foosball table was delivered Monday morning. Unfortunately it was on a truck that was too large to come into the complex. Plus I'm in DC right now. So the table is sitting at the Yellow Transportation terminal in Marietta. My friend Jesse has a truck, and he said he could take me when we get back from DC thursday night, but I don't know their hours of operation. Jesse's leaving friday morning, and he won't be back until Tuesday. So If anyone knows someone with a truck who is willing to go and pick the table up, that would rock! If not, I guess we have to wait until Tuesday to get our Whirlwind on.
btw: The table is in a crate that weighs 200 lbs and is apparently 48''x48''. So the mode of transportation will need to be handle a heavy load.

Home Depot rents trucks at $20 per hour and a half. I'm probably going to go by there sometime today, I just need some help getting the crate off the trunk and into the apt.

BTW Shawn, thanks for giving my other foosball table away. WTF? I know I said I would probably trash it or give it away, but atleast tell me before you actually do it. Steph was asking where our other table was, and I said "In the sunroom." Drew is like "No, it's gone." So i'm like "No, it's just in the sunroom." And Drew's like "No, Shawn gave it away." What the hell? It's not like we split the cost of the table. I paid for it. So for the record, don't give my possessions away, broken or otherwise, without atleast talking to me first.

You are right. That was my bad. I thought that it was agreed upon that we were going to give it away. I will chip in for the new table to make up for it.

A round of golf! I can buy a round of golf for 9000 diners club points, and i'm currently just over 31k. I get a point for every dollar I charge, and with all the travelling I'm expensing for my DC project, I'll have enough for 4 of us to go by February or so. I don't think I'll be getting to 45k anytime soon though, so I'll have to pick the 3 of you who want it the most. Or, the first 3 to request a spot! Haha, either way, it could make for some "free" fun. ("free" bc technically I could buy something else with the points, but I don't plan on paying for golf anytime soon, so this might be a good alternative. Also, I'm not sure what all is included, so we might have to rent clubs etc). The first link above lists all the participating courses we can choose from. According to the site "certificates" are only valid Monday-Thursday, so we'd have to go during the week sometime, but the Atlanta course is inside the perimeter, so it wouldn't be bad.
