In case you all haven't been keeping up with teh facebook, they've added some cool features as of late.

  1. "How do you know this person?" - and it's not just a little text box.. it's quite a bit more. who you've lived with, worked with, had class with, gone to school with, dated.. you get the idea.
  2. "Pulse" - shows you stats about your school and the facebook (most popular artists, movies, etc). You can also compare your school to other schools (e.g. 3 of the top 10 favorite artists at UGA are country-related.. damn hicks)

edit: as you can see, the links are for git.facebook.. i dont even know if that matters for ppl who go to other schools.. i'm sure you'll figure it out.
as would be expected, 311 and Better Than Ezra are in the LSU top 10

strangely enough, the top 10 movies are the exact same as the overall top 10, just in slightly different order
4%

of female students are looking for whatever they can get.

12%

of male students are looking for whatever they can get.

4% huh... sooo, you're sayin there's a chance, right?
Not if you're using that picture in your facebook profile.
Congratulations to me for having nothing in common with the pulse at GT or anywhere else.

Edit: Nevermind, Augusta is no. 8 hometown for GT.
i know its not a new feature, but i just used the "Events" thing a while ago to help plan the trip to see Hostel. So you guys should log in to facebook and RSVP for the movie nite 8-)
AHA! cool new feature: the Facebook API. This means anyone can write their own application that uses the power of the facebook database. You'd have to log in of course, and I'm not sure what all is exposed to the programmer. Just add this to the long list of API's that i've been meaning to write an app for.
they need to bring back the "how you're connected feature" for more than just friends of friends... matt i'm looking in your direction
i'm on it
new question about facebook: If a gay guy who I don't know from some random school pokes me, does that make me gay? Or only if I poke him back?
It's irrelevant: you're already gay for thinking of that question and posting it on the internet.
damn The Gay for being so contageous!
Facebook recently added a "places" feature that allows you to "check in" like 4square etc. If you don't want your current location broadcast by FB, you have to be proactive about it (because of course this shit is enabled by default):
