hmm what avatar are you trying to change it to? i'll take a look at it

edit: oh i think this is an issue with browser image caching. since the avatars are generated dynamically by php every time (so we can have one URL like "http://club409.com/user/avatar/10" refer to your avatar, no matter what file it is), i made it tell the browser to cache it for 24 hours. if you load up that link and hit refresh, it should show your up-to-date avatar.

I wish I knew a better way to do it. when i didn't put the cache directive in there, it re-downloaded every avatar, every page load :(
